Illegal Drugs: What are they?

Image result for drugs

It's common knowledge that smuggling illegal drugs can get you arrested. They're called illegal drugs for a reason because they are dangerous/harmful to your health. Most notable ones are marijuana, cocaine, LSD and meth, or shabu as what it is called in the Philippines.
However, marijuana is rather on the controversial side due to the fact that in some countries it is legal, though for medicinal purposes. Even if this type of drug is legalized in some countries be it for medicinal or recreational purposes, people still abuse it which I don't blame the governments in countries that kept it illegal.

So, why are illegal drugs dangerous?
They aren't good for anyone, but they are particularly bad for a kid or a teen whose body is still growing. Illegal drugs can damage the brain, heart, and other important organs. Cocaine, for instance, can cause a heart attack if too much intake.
While using drugs, people are also less able to do well in school, sports, and other activities. It's often harder to think clearly and make good decisions. People can do dumb or dangerous things that could hurt them or other people when they use drugs.Too much intake of these chemical substances can eventually lead to death.
Each of these chemical substances have different side effects, some may affect your nervous system or the brain in general, some may affect your blood pressure, and some may even cause seizures or heart attack.
So if you want to keep safe and not die at an early age from health problems and want to live your life the fullest, avoid taking these chemical substances. Don't fall into your temptations or curiosity.
